Couldn't put it better. Like the Pardew situation, it's not ALL his fault, but because he is so happy to bend over and take it whilst defending the regime to the hilt, it kind of is his fault.

Or worse, make him go to SJP and force him to watch the match.

Sunderland have Southampton at the weekend and Aston Villa have Everton it's not beyond the realms of possibility they both win them. We could be right in the s*** come this time next week. Burnley, qpr and newcastle to go down is 80/1. Am I missing something here? Newcastle are 18/1 on their own, surely if we go down it'll be 95% certain it's with burnley and qpr? where you found that like?

I feel like this now. When Hull scored to take the lead at Palace, my gut reaction was that puts us right in the shit. I then turned back to the game and thought well at least we'll be competitive down there. Stay up and we've got week after week of bang average teams knocking 3 or 4 past us every week before getting relegated anyway. Why not get it over and done with this year.

Liverpool vs Newcastle - 13/04/15 @ 8PM (Live on SkySports)

Liverpool fan at work genuinely asked why I'm not going. Managed to keep a straight face and cobble something together about extortionate prices for what can be a very shit view and we've taken 3 points from last 57 there so we'll be lucky to get over halfway line blah blah blah. I wanted to laugh in his face and maybe tell him it's because I'm not clinically fucking insane that's why. Mind you, he seems to think we're going to win so maybe he genuinely has a mental imbalance I just never spotted before... -
This. I can see why it has left a bad taste and upset people but at worst Krul coming across as more happy-go-lucky than he should at that point is a symptom rather than root cause of the club's problems and I don't see the point in slaughtering him for it.

NUFC kits & merchandise - Third Kit on Sale 01/07/25 @ 9am

Even without the whole moral argument- its ILLUMINOUS FUCKING BLUE stuck in the middle of black and white stripes. Think the home kit looks all right without wonga like. Probably won't get one, but has anyone on here ever owned or come across a wonga shirt? Reason I'm asking is, those logos look a little on the flimsy side- in the style of a few of the Northern Rock designs where an 'unfortunate' swipe with an iron would leave it half hanging off. Or is it welded on like the 95-97 beermat design? -
fucked me over and all

Metros and trains on as usual apparently. How do you want to get down mate? I'll give you a shout in a few days, will do either if you have a strong preference, but edging towards preference to metro as not a ridiculously early set off and I've got the Mrs up with me that weekend. Currently trying to find someone to babysit her for a few hours while we're off at the match, but think she's up for drinking before/after with us if you fancy a day on the juice?

I'd be more than happy to start him as a defensive minded centre mid for the rest of the season and see how he does. Seen more than enough of Colback and Anita, and for some reason Carver doesn't seem to fancy Abeid. Looking energetic for 20 minutes against a tired Arsenal team on it's last legs when you're full of adrenalin is one thing but playing 90 minutes is another so will be interesting to see how he gets on. Would I give him another year? Probably not, but if we can find some mug to give us cash for tiote or anita that can then be used to help fund this years transfer priorities (which must be a new, central defense of proven quality and a proper striker) and he's shown enough to indicate he can be a back-up midfielder for a season then I could be persuaded.

Anyone remember Titus Bramble running in on goal in the 90th minute the day we relegated Birmingham City?? Had the whole of their half to himself as they'd all gone up for a corner and somehow when the ball broke it broke to him. Dumb fucker kept looking around over his shoulder for someone better to pass it to before panicking and toe-punting it harmlessly into the stand from about 35 yards out.
