Right, my mind has gone blank and I can't think of this player's name; played for us, signed from either Leicester or Chelsea I think. Brazilian whose name was like a first name but spelt incorrectly. I'd google it but I don't know what to google. Any ideas on who I'm trying to remember or am I just imagining him?

This post is exactly it. I can't see what their problem is, they have a chairman who keeps them financial sound and they are hovering around mid to the top of the table so they should be grateful for that (yes, I'm doing shades of every tosser football fan who said similar about us and ashley). As for the ropey granny, a cockney friend and colleague of mine used to tour up here and would describe them to be as "dorty antees".

That's how it seemed. Only noticed them being referred to as united in the last couple of years, well after Man City getting dubbed as "citeh" by other club's fans. Never made any sense calling them "United" anyway, as they're not united. There's two teams in Manchester so not united at all.

Sheffield have two teams, United and Wednesday. Neither is known as just Sheffield. And man u have been known as man u, or man united. Seems they only tried to grab the united tag as their own when Citeh got known as Citeh as opposed to Man City.
