You only get 2k as opposed to 3k there though don't you? Although agreed 100 does seem very high, despite it still being in the Xmas period, so theoretically more people off work and wanting to go. Be interesting to see what it ends up at.

It's just lower tier anyway at Anfield, Everton where it's upper and lower, we've only got lower this season. I think the point is that in that one game he showed miles more than our other forwards ever have. Whether he can do that consistently is obviously to be seen, but the fact that he can do it at all would suggest he is a significant upgrade and key to how our season goes.

I know he's been injured, but like you say he's back training, so I wondered if there was something I didn't know about that would prevent him playing for another three months. I suspect, given the current mood around the club, we just take every bit of news, add a negative factor of x10, and assume that's how it will play out?

Off the bench you mean? I've heard there's a good chance he won't be in the squad at all. He can't be that far off given the videos of him training on the treadmill and whatnot he's been posting. We'll soon see if he's back training with the rest of them this week.

Have you reported it? Yes, you shouldn't have to, but if you do and nothing is done, it strengthens the case that things aren't being maintained to a satisfactory level. Agree with the 4G, that's a pain in the a*se. I know we go for the match, not to be staring at our phones, but being able to get the other scores would be nice. I believe it was brought up at the fans forum in the past, can't remember what the response was though.
