Now that is just what I needed to top off this glorious day. Well, a win tonight would not go amiss!

You don’t know much about ‘phycology’, have to say I’m not surprised (…my favourite Bell-man). 😉 -
Would be lovely to win comfortably (full stop…) but (even more so…) it to be the least important win of the week.

Murphy captain. First time? -
Howe says Yoane Wissa, who was an unused sub against Barcelona, is injury free, ahead of Saturday's trip to Chelsea in the Premier League, which is live on Sky Sports. "Yoane is fit," said Howe. "Fitter, probably, than at any stage in his time with us. He's training with the group whenever we train and no injury concerns at all. "The challenge for Yoane is, when introduced and on the pitch, he's got to perform." That’s about as brutal as Howe gets (at least in public).

He ‘shoots’ all over the place though

I was about to type that I hope the atmosphere is as good for the game against them, as it was last night. But then remembered previous games. It is likely to be better. We’ll need the team to do their part but it will be electric initially and, with the slightest bit of encouragement, throughout. I can’t wait.

Yamal definitely should. Little shit. -
Tonali was knackered, understandably, and probably wouldn’t have made it anyway. For what it is worth, we would have had a markedly increased chance of holding on to 2-0 than 1-0. Tactically we would have set up differently if two up so I don’t personally bemoan them trying to keep attacking.
-
Going to be a struggle to keep them both. But if we can do so for next season and we have a good season League and cup wise, we might just have the England fullbacks for the foreseeable future.

We’re going there with a puncher’s chance. Which would have still been the case if it had stayed 1-0. Important thing is as you say we are still in the tie. -

Don’t know about you folks, but despite some disappointment at the last kick of last night, I feel incredibly proud of the lads today. Went toe to toe with a real powerhouse of a club and pretty much had the best of it. -
What a performance from the lad. Nothing and nobody fazes him.

Aye, right. Chuck in Reijnders as well as Trafford and £25m and they're getting close.
