  1. Given the links we had with Gallagher and Guehi, could have been five NUFC players in a row in that pic. Not that much wrong with our pre Mitchell scouting perhaps.
  2. Gameweek 12 Leicester 1-2 Chelsea Arsenal 2-0 Forest Villa 2-0 Palace Bournemouth 2-1 Brighton Everton 0-1 Brentford Fulham 2-1 Wolves Man City 3-1 Spurs Southampton 0-2 Liverpool Ipswich 1-2 Man United Newcastle 3-1 West Ham
  3. Gameweek 11 Brentford 1-2 Bournemouth Palace 1-0 Fulham West Ham 2-0 Everton Wolves 3-1 Southampton Brighton 3-2 Man City Liverpool 4-2 Villa Man United 4-1 Leicester Forest 1-3 Newcastle Spurs 4-1 Ipswich Chelsea 1-2 Arsenal
  4. Gameweek 10 Newcastle 1-0 Arsenal Bournemouth 1-2 Man City Ipswich 2-1 Leicester Liverpool 3-1 Brighton Forest 1-0 West Ham Southampton 0-1 Everton Wolves 2-1 Palace Spurs 2-2 Villa Man United 3-2 Chelsea Fulham 2-1 Brentford
  5. World Cup winner and Euros winner to boot. Not a bad ‘B’ team.
  6. I’d like to see that formation. Concern would be we’d maybe be a bit light in the middle/boiler room’ out of possession.
  7. Yep, played against two centre backs tonight we’ve been interested in/tried to sign . May as well have another in the next round.
  8. Found Sky Sports app on TV (SkyGlass) says match is ‘upcoming’ but no Now TV app or seemingly no way of adding it. Feck shouldn’t be this complicated.
  9. Eddie & Co. record for PL games with us. Overall, since first transfer window (more 'his' team), by calendar year, and by season. Pretty grim that we managed 2.00 points per game for 2022 (36 games in calendar year) and 1.54 points per game for 2024 (28 games thus far).
  10. End of October update on how the points accrued from the 9 games thus far compares to what we might expect a team finishing in the top six to have managed. This takes into account relative difficulty of the games (based mainly on last season's finishing position and whether home or away). It will come as no surprise to see that with 12 points from 9 games, we are 4 points off track. This is because we have only picked up one point in October, when 6 were expected. Whilst this prediction formula has been pretty accurate for last couple of seasons, with so few games it is volatile/easily changeable. For example, at end of September we were one point ahead (11) at end of what we would expect from a team on track to finish fourth (10 points given same fixture difficulty).
  11. Think he’ll come on as a sub against Chelsea. (… then won’t play for us again this season )
  12. Gameweek 9 Leicester 1-1 Forest Villa 1-0 Bournemouth Brentford 2-1 Ipswich Brighton 0-1 Wolves Man City 4-1 Southampton Everton 1-1 Fulham Chelsea 0-2 Newcastle Palace 0-2 Spurs West Ham 1-1 Man United Arsenal 1-1 Liverpool
  13. Why no Tripps in squad v Brighton?
  14. Until first game kicks off. Otherwise can’t timestamp it easily.
  15. Remember being at that game. Son of my Mam’s best friend playing for Bradford (Newcastle fan) in defence and if I recall correctly he was one of those getting skinned by McGhee!
  16. Gameweek 8 Spurs 1-2 West Ham Fulham 1-1 Villa Ipswich 2-0 Everton Man United 3-1 Brentford Newcastle 2-2 Brighton Southampton 0-2 Leicester Bournemouth 0-2 Arsenal Wolves 1-3 Man City Liverpool 3-1 Chelsea Forest 0-0 Palace
  17. Yep, Pep has said he wants to manage us if Man City are docked points. (Not really, but thought I’d have a go at starting a rumour).
  18. McTominay or (preferably) Gallagher would have improved us significantly. Almost as if Eddie and crew can spot a player better than we can.
  19. Very stimulating place.
  20. Yep. He had the bottle to step-up. As soon as he did, unless pre-agreed, I think a strong captain would have taken it off him. No good to come of it, just more stick, even if he scored.
