  1. Popped over to GOT last night and Everton fans seem to think he’s shit.
  2. They were shit. Could’ve played until midnight and I doubt they’d have mustered a meaningful shot at goal. They had loads of possession, however at appeared to be very much at our say so. We only really played near our best for ten mins, scored and could’ve had a couple more. Outside of that we seemed very happy to preserve our energy and let them try and play through us.

Their need for validation from other football fans is genuinely one of the most pathetic things I’ve ever come across. I remember the heady days of their ‘special relationship’ with Man United because Keane managed them and signed a load of shite from Old Trafford. If I were constantly looking for the approval from fans of other clubs I think I’d eventually cotton on the fact it’s indicative of a deep seated inadequacy. Not these cunts. It’s never ending. And if there’s no evidence to suggest that they do have any sort of relationship with Feyenoord/Bilbao/Leyton Orient/Redcar U19s it’s because the evidence goes to another school. Have some self respect for fucks sake. Meant to be grown adults over there.
  4. 4 points from Man United, Everton and Spurs was the height of my expectations so yeah, this is a free hit. They destroyed us last season, so I think we’ll get beaten but it’ll be a close game.
  5. Joelinton’s been dog shit tonight. So many loose passes and heavy touches.
  6. Already bored absolutely shitless by the media’s attempt to create some sort of needle between Klopp and Howe.
  7. Proper shivers up the spine moment when it was unfurled against Liverpool. Probably my single favourite WF moment.

Regardless of whether there’s even a sliver of truth or not in anything they’re saying, it’s genuinely hilarious they’re getting on their high horse about anti-black racism. Their players had to stop taking the knee because of their support ffs
  9. Reading things like a massive nerd.
  10. Write me a better one. Now.
  11. Those eagles look more pathetic than the seahorses.
  12. I don’t have an issue with SJH. I’m sure he made off like a bandit, he was a businessman after all, but he transformed the club.
  13. About to? Have you spent any time on here recently?

    Fabian Schär

Takes more knocks to the head than Chris Benoit. Should have a face like a melted wellington boot the amount of punishment it takes.
  15. My entire life - aside from when Benitez was here and he rotated like mad - we’ve had injury problems.
  16. Mint. Again. Always think it’s a sign of a proper classy centre back that you don’t really notice them.
  17. Can’t grumble about that. Didn’t think we played particularly well in the final third but Man United are a different proposition to Brentford. Impressed by how we stepped up to a so called ‘big team’ again and caused them some real issues. We were only really under the cosh for the last ten minutes, other than that it was a very even game. Schar MOTM. Onwards and upwards.

Newcastle United is just a name. Black and white are just colours. Newcastle is just another city on the map. By your logic literally everything should be up for grabs providing there’s some financial benefit to the club. The fact that the further commercialisation of a football club is seen as ‘progress’ is pretty depressing. I’m a realist, but there I some things that should be beyond money.

Barcelona probably aren’t the best example of a club making smart financial decisions like.

    St James' Park

There are dozens of different commercial avenues the club can exploit before stadium naming rights should even be up for discussion. The figures people think it’ll bring in are pretty fanciful. The most successful stadium sponsorship to date (legitimate anyway) has been Emirates at Arsenal which has generated about £250m since 2005 and runs until the end of this decade. I appreciate the game has changed slightly over the years, but Spurs are not getting anything close to a billion particularly with rules around market value. There’s no meaningful precedent in this country for a club of our size, with a ground as old as SJP, renaming their stadium. Old Trafford, Villa Park, Anfield, Goodison, Stamford Bridge etc. I protested when Ashley did it and I’d protest if the Saudis did it.

    St James' Park

Fundamentally opposed to any stadium name change. I don’t care about the X millions it may bring in, St James’ Park is sacrosanct.
  22. I remember when we were on Watchdog because we re-released our 99/01 kit when we changed sponsor
