Tuchel has been saying for months that Henderson is basically a cert for the WC for his character and leadership as much as ability. Burn is in the same boat albeit with a stronger case for being there on merit. Henderson being in the squad isn't (or shouldn't be to anyone paying attention) a surprise at all, if he can put one foot in front of the other he's going to the World Cup.

Spot on about Trafford, feel like we're in the same sort of situation with keepers as we are up front when Kane finishes or if he falls off a cliff. You can take another keeper (or I suppose any player you wanted really) and not have him officially as part of the squad. Tom Heaton went to the last Euros to fill in during training but the squad keepers were Pickford, Ramsdale, Henderson

Obviously Pickford and Henderson are clear 1 and 2, the other three are just there to see who the best training keeper might be. In truth Ramsdale or Pope were always in with a shout as there's only one of those plus Pickford and Henderson who are English #1 keepers in the PL anyway, but suspect they'll still go with Trafford in the summer
