I'll go with: Given Beye Faye Taylor Enrique Milner Geremi Emre N'Zogbia Smith Martins On form Arsenal facing..us, and apperently Van Persie was rested just for our game so they might mix the first team with the youngsters, expecting this to be a very tough game on BSA and the team, our first real challenge of the season. Can't believe we're playing on Tuesday though! Only a two day gap between two matches. This game is a great chance to do these things against decent/strong opposition: - Play Smith up front - Start Martins (should start the next league game anyway) - Start Enrique - Get Taylor back in the centre for a game - Have one of Geremi or Butt replaced by a more offensive minded player Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also, i wouldn't drop one of Butt or Geremi, cos if they both play well, they'll assist us in setting up shop (which we'll need to go against such a good, offensive team). I'd have Faye starting at the back cos he's a big motherfucker and will hopefully combat the aerial threat of Da Silva/Adebayor, and Rozehnal who's tall aswell, who should also counter the pace of Van Persie or whoever. (aka more defensive minded if they don't play all youngsters) 3) We'll have to hit them on the break with Viduka to hold it up as Martins runs past him. Roz to hit most of the headers but Taylor to cover if it goes through on the ground. Butt and Geremi in midfield to hold the experience over the (hopefully) Arsenal youngsters.
