Beren
any mention of transfer kitty? Really? Well, you won't find any more distrustful than me, but the cup ambition is easy to fake/lie about. In the short term, money is the easiest way to prove them as liars/reformed.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
He's a member of the board, too. Along with Carr and Moncur.
NUFC_Chris
To be honest, I think that's quite a promising press release. He must've been promised some quite significant investment. Here's hoping.
Nobody
Seems like we didn't quite learn our lesson with all those 8 year deals then How the hell is that supposed to work, anyway? If he does well in the first three (top 8, win a cup?), does that mean there's an automatic 5 year add on? Or will he be on a one year rolling contract after that? Anyway, I'm glad that the initial deal is only for three years, makes him very sackable (to even have to write this fifteen minutes after he has been appointed ), which was always a big problem with Pardew. Wallace
Sky reporters said that supporters were positive towards McClaren then they showed several interviews with fans which ranged from lukewarm to indifference.

Scottish Mag
So if we are performing poorly under McClaren what happens at board level? "So we need to sack the manager, close your ears Steve you might not like this...."

Yorkie
They love putting their eggs in one basket, don't they? He might not have an 8-year deal but him being on the board gives him some serious job security, surely?
Wallace
If McClaren is on the board, will he be attending the Fans Foru?

Moncur is a flannel who has always sided with Ashley - pretty disappointed with that bit tbh.
