Maybe death is a little much but significant physical pain should be inflicted upon the people who write these. And yet Blackburn get a draw at home to Hull, and the Mail's headline is "Upbeat Ince relies on the Cruz control to earn Blackburn point".
Carlito
All these negative articles are like are like shit in a field, they're everywhere. Going by the highlights I wouldn't say we were actually THAT bad ffs. Just let them keep having their digs, bottom line is at the end of the day... Ridman
So, where are fans as Given saves the day for Newcastle? http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/sport/football/article-1048596/So-fans-Given-saves-day-Newcastle.html?ITO=1490 fucking daily mail, cunts if it wasnt so predictable i'd say it was an unbelievable article, utter trash. " Gretar Steinsson's spotkick was stroked powerfully to Given's left but the goalkeeper was down in a flash to save it at full stretch - and then he had the presence of mind to boot the ball clear as the Icelandic defender raced in to try to right his wrong." mackems.gif http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/newcastle-utd-1-bolton-wanderers-0-owen-rises-above-newcastles-mediocrity-907120.html Never read such a rediculously biased match report. mattypnufc
Fucking idiots the lot of them. Personally, we didnt perform as well as we could until after the penalty was saved. They played the usual 'Anti-football' and we didnt like it. Given saved the pen, the crowd went mental after that and then the team picked up and think they realised that they were playing Bolton and took then game to them. As for the bollocks about 'Where are all the fans...' 3rd best attendance in the league today? Where do they make this shit up from?
mrmojorisin75
As for the bollocks about 'Where are all the fans...' 3rd best attendance in the league today? Where do they make this shit up from? the thing is they write articles based on "commonly-accepted" facts rather than researching properly and writing stuff that's real, so for years now (PL era) they've built NUFC up as the club with the "best fans in the world", 52,000 of whom turn up week-in-week-out regardless of what's on show 'cause they never win trophies...automatons who have no life outside of waiting for the next match and getting pissed on the biggmarket the fact that, for a number of reasons, we've now not done so doesn't warrant them reasearching the reasons why crowd no's might have fallen for ONE GAME, they'll just trot out what makes a nice easy, headline grabbing article for arseholes in the south to read fuckpigs
mattypnufc
lol @ fuckpigs Aye I know what you are saying...strange how the likes of Bolton/Blackburn/Smogs/everyotherunofthemillshittyteam never get slated about having wank attendance, yet we have 5k less than normal (and bare in mind 2k of them were away seats imo), we get shit for it. Like you say...the joys of being easy targets and a paper selling team.
Tooj
That Patrick Barkley fellow is it is about one of the only few who will give us a bit of time. It's normally either him or Henry Winter. Guest thommo78
Don't care what the press say..4 points from the first two games tells its own story for me. When the fixtures came out id of been happy with 6 points from the first 4 games and over the moon with 7, and without getting ahead of ourselves we are on course for that... they can write what they like...drivel or not...I for one am personally very happy with the start and progress from last year. No doubt in my mind that we would have lost that game under SA...howay the lads!

Guest
The Sun reckons 47,771 is our lowest attendance in the league at home in 10 years...now considering we've only had 52,000 seats there since 2001, that's a mighty achievement.
