Saw this, this morning! It was obvious he hurt it after the initial foul but they kept him on. Whenever he was running he kept his arm close to his side, was pretty obvious it was worse than first feared. Should have been off straight away!!!

Based on last season, do people on here honestly believe Milner would have been that much of an improvement over Geremi or Duff?

 

He was shit for us. We staved off relegation partly because he was out of the side, not in it. Amazing what a good game against a nearly relegated Championship side, along with a £12m fee, can do for one's reputation.

 

I'd rather play Geremi tbh, at least he's capable of picking out one of Owen's runs rather than row Z of the East stand.

Couldn't have said it better. Even Keegan himself only valued him at £7-8m. He might be useful for a functional and direct Martin O'Neill side, but a footballing manager like Wenger or Fergie wouldn't look at him twice.
