Six of the 20-man squad against Atletico cost more than £20M, and six of the 18-man squad against Liverpool. Looks like we’re starting to get players back, but again the light at the end of tunnel looks like being an oncoming train. I was kinda positive this morning but it’s all so frustrating. You'll be fine. Morale boosting performance and win mid-week, decent result against Liverpool last week and important players coming back. Forrest played 120+ mins midweek and had to travel away aswell. More importantly players seem to have woken up to their circumstance a little bit and are putting in the effort now. Beat Forrest and you will stay up comfortably. If you somehow conspire to lose however then all the positivity I just mentioned could evaporate in a flash. But can't see it happening this weekend. The problem is that at this stage all it takes is one thing to go against you. We were beating Palace and playing pretty well then VDV fucks up and it all falls apart. The main encouragement is that for the first time in well over a year we’re actually playing proper football which is down to Tudor. I think it’s confidence rather than “putting in the effort”. Confidence in the manager’s ideas, confidence in their own fitness and ability, confidence in the players around them. Confidence that the fans are behind them. We’ll see what happens on Sunday but either way it all feels like a searing indictment of Thomas Frank. Some fan groups have put together a statement that has been retweeted by a ton of players to reinforce all this. Typically many of the players drive themselves to the ground but tomorrow they will all meet at the training ground and take the coach. The fans are going to congregate on the High Road 2-3 hours before the game to cheer them into the ground (and get pissed). I’ll be there. Poorer than a church mouse right now but I’m walking over there tomorrow morning to do the tiniest little bit I can. I’d disengaged from football to an extent but this is what it’s all about for me. Just hoping we don’t all get kicked in the teeth again.
cannybagoftudor
OK this end of the table is going to be very interesting. Certainly has taken my mind of the shambles today and looking at the remaining fixtures I really can't see Spurs surviving. OpenC
Yeah going to be a hell of a run in. I think this was the game; if West Ham pick up a couple of points I just don't see spurs having the mental strength to keep up Edited March 22 by OpenC
Elma
I'd expect West Ham and Forest to win one of their next two. Forest have two home games agasint Villa and then Burnley. West Ham have Wolves home then Palace away. Spurs have the Mackems away then Brighton at home. If they don't win one of those then they could well be in the bottom three with five games to go, and that's a huge psychological kick in the nuts. Looking at the fixtures it's between Spurs and West Ham for me. Spurs v Leeds on 9 May and the final day West Ham v Leeds could be huge.

Sir Joel Inton
Assuming we’re out of contention for Europe by then, I’d happily let West Ham come and spank us in the final home game if it leads to Spurs being relegated. It’d be an honour.

Magpie Mover
I wouldn't celebrate too much if the go down, for starters Howe will be all over Solanke and Gallagher.

For some reason I always felt like it was either us, Tottenham and Man City who were on rotation as football's biggest laughing stock for various reasons back in the day, they're just delivering the goods right now, football heritage etc
