Was referencing the Kinnear interview where he claimed to have signed Krul, several years before Kinnear was even at the club.

Can't even recall him saying that but it doesn't surprise me. He was a proper Walter Mitty.

Kinnear only lost 2 of his first 12...

There’s a fairly reasonable argument to say we would have stayed up if he hadn’t taken ill. Where that would then have left us like….

They still haven't sacked him?

What are they waiting for?

Why would they sack him when he still has a job to finish?

My man he was literally diagnosed with dementia within five years of being our manager and less than a year after being our director of football.

Holy shit I missed that somehow, good lord man [emoji38]

Paulinha and Romero both subbed after a clash of heads so concussion protocol could rule them out for the Liverpool game. VDV suspended for that game too.

Oof.

This could be a full on egging.

Romero will play. They’ll just say he’s passed all the protocol checks. Paulinha might be a bit harder to swing that way, as he did look fucked after it happened.

A concussed Romero might be worse than a no Romero mind

Look even bleaker for this lot. Athletic are reporting a split in the squad with one player saying he doesn't care if they go down as he's leaving anyways

Reeks of us in the past.

They've gone full Newcastle United circa 2008 maybe?

A team with Viduka, Colo, Owen, Martins, Barton, Nolan, Enriqúe was 'too good to go down'. Most of these players would walk into that Spurs side. They're in deep trouble.

Never did I imagine a Cartel club might go down in my lifetime, shame its Spurs out of the options but I'll take anything. Just a shame Levy isnt around for maximum enjoyment.

Think they'll stay up.

"Too good to go down" teams tend to be crap for too long and leave themselves too much work to stay up. These have a points advantage atm.

Think Rafa joined as we were 5 points from safety? Went down by a point (a offside Aguero goal). That's kind of this West Ham team. They are playing now but it's a bit late.

Genuinely wouldn't be surprised if Spurs won that. Just so we have even more of a reason to hate Liverpool.
