Has seriously injured Romero and could have seriously injured Kinsky. We’re struggling anyway but the refereeing has now got to the point where it’s so clearly following a narrative. Today was a joke. Still no penalties. There’s most probably some validity in what you say, but as a fanbase, you’ve got to move away from this. If it starts becoming a narrative that somehow referees have got it in for Spurs, and you’re not getting a fair shake, that will seep through to the players and the manager, and you start giving them a bit of an excuse. “I know we were shit, but…” I still think the fact that we got absolutely jipped by Howard Webb in our penultimate game against Fulham in 08/09 played into putting in such a listless performance in the final game against Villa. We were feeling sorry for ourselves. You can’t let that happen.

NUFCDoog
Things like this can help sometimes, hes hardly been helping them this season with where they are and wouldn't normally be dropped, so being forced to play someone else with something to prove could be a good thing
Kilcline
Good for him and them to have the injury excuse rather than the inevitable head loss he'd have experienced in an upcoming game to get himself sent off anyway. OH WHEN THE SPURS

Law of averages would say that at some point, they might have a better season than us. I feel completely confident that seasons like this will be infrequent for them, whereas our future looks so much brighter with much firmer foundations. Let them have their season. They won't have many so they can rewatch this seasons DVD in 12 months time and remember their glory years.

It's exactly why, as funny as it'll be, that they'll walk the Championship and be straight back up. Like us they'll be able to attract players still and can still pay a bit, this could be their Matt Ritchie type signing, obviously not the same but was a big deal when he joined us in thr Championship and he was a step above, as Robertson will be in the Championship if they're there. Worth the gamble as he'll be thinking theyre straight back up
Kid Icarus
Watched their highlights yesterday and it really is an 'all the signs' situation like. It's a perfect storm where probably even one factor (especially their goalkeeper being half decent) would keep them up. Personally thought their penalty was a pen. The goal they conceded was something else like, when the shot was taken and deflected it looked every bit like a shot that a standard PL goalkeeper deals with. How he was that bamboozled by it I'll never know.

Mike
Crazy to think that you can be winless for the year in April and still survive. EPL is quietly fucking shit.

Same with winning the title. City were a disaster and will likely win the league. Chelsea, Man U and Liverpool have all been rubbish but 2 of them will get CL. The battle for Europe is massive because of you are mid table now your get Europe. More to play for is making teams more scared to lose and less freedom. Most games are utter shit. Moose
It's also pretty insane that we're theoretically still in the race for Europe despite losing every week. Or so it seems.

NUFCDoog
This should be Leeds safe now with still having Wolves and Burnley to play at home, so its now Spurs, West Ham or Forest. Forest have Burnley at home next, Spurs against Brighton, West Ham at Palace. Could look very bleak this time next week
