After watching the Van De Ven red card again a few times, I reckon he did that on purpose. He wanted the red.

If they do go down, given the stadium, the amount they've spend and there revenue, is it the biggest ever relegation?

I say yes, I guess us in 2009 is close, and maybe Villa in 2016. It genuinely felt impossible for one of the "big 6" to get into this position, and it actually gives me a bit of hope that mother football can still bite back despite the utter determination of those 6 clubs to make it as much as a closed shop as possible.

Remember when they where part of the Super League

Think it undoubtedly would be aye, they are the 5th longest mainstays in the top flight (promoted 1978):

Easily yeah. Only thing that comes close is Leeds or Leicester in terms of massive drop offs and they're still nowhere near.

They need to change their motto.

No one is daring or doing anything.

Not if their dream was to get relegated and reduce the purchase price of the club

Every single one of them looks like they're staring straight down the barrel of a relegation and simultaneously looking for their next move onwards. That club is fucking rotten and built on absolutely nothing, there's no substance there at all - they've got a mint stadium but the squad that plays there is without any heart or guts, they'll go down

Without a doubt.

They established themselves as part of a cartel who tried to steal football a number of times and form a league for the elites only.

Their stadium gives them massive revenue that most Premier League teams can’t compete with, let alone Championship teams.

Merchandise wise they have became a brand, especially since they signed up with Nike, and had Kane & Son as poster boys.

Us going down was big because of how we flirted with winning the title in the Premier League era.

Leeds going down was big but their success pre-dated the Premier League era and a lot of it was down to finances.

Blackburn were always an unsustainable auger daddy club.

Leicester have always been traditionally more of a yo-yo club.

West Ham going down with the players they had was a shock, but those players were largely youngsters and not experienced at that point.

Spurs going down would put all of those relegations into insignificance.

Always felt like VDV comes across like an arrogant fuck who thinks he's better than he is due to being fast. Loads of pundits seem to overate him aswell. Sure he's fast but seen him make tons of mistakes, Isak used to make him look silly every time. Seems like the wrong sort of character aswell from the little clips of his interactions and perceived disrespect to his managers.

Wouldn't normally recommend talksport but Jaime o hara is broken and Jason Cundy has an Ange mask on and for some reason it's cracking me up just watching the Ange face smiling at him

Jason Cundy is a full on cunt.

He spots his dummy out whenever anyone laughs at Chelsea.

I’m not giving him airtime. It’s the same patter every night.

We all know too well what happens when you spend years accumulating an unbalanced squad filled with mediocre players with big egos on big salaries being led by weak, inept managers hired by greedy buffoons whose only concern is keeping the coffers topped up.

You can tell that not a single one of those players gives a fuck about Spurs or the fans, they all signed thinking they were joining one of England's best clubs on the brink of building something special but the longer they spend there, the more they'll realise what a mickey mouse operation that whole club is and they'll already be lining up their next move.

West Ham and Forest aren't much to write home about but they've got players in their squads with heart and character
