Do you think he would be the type of player to leave the club, if somebody like Man Utd or Chelsea came calling?

If he wasn't a Geordie I would be terrified of losing him in the next few years, but because of that I think we've got a good chance of keeping him.

Also, we keep fearing that a number of our other players are likely to be targets for better sides (Tiote, Colo, Enrique, Ben Arfa etc), but IMO if we add to them seinsibly we should start to think of ourselves as one of those 'better sides'.

If he's already getting into the England squad while playing at Newcastle, why move elsewhere?  A lot of players will move to the "big four" to try and get call-ups - he's already getting his.

CL/win trophies. Thankfully, he's from Newcastle and is a supporter and most importantly has the no.9 shirt, something that won't be given up easily.

Why is Roeder getting involved?!

Did Carroll not start at the academy when Roeder was in charge?

Probably thinks he 'discovered' him, so can comment on him now.

Sorry if it has been addressed before but what of his bail conditions? Will there be special dispensation for him to travel to and stay in London with the England squad?

He did get permission to stay in the team hotel before the derby, so maybe it has been considered.

He's already been told he could move out of Nolan's house, as his own house must be near to completion...

Seems the bail conditions are he lives at his own home, or with Nolan, not in a hotel as he had been (Jesmond Dene Hotel).

As he can stay at the NUFC team hotel for away matches, I would think he'd be ok to stay at the England Team Hotel, if called up.

He can probably travel for "work," just like has done for away games.

Cheers, hadn't thought of it like that...

I still thought of it as Carroll being released into Nolan's "custody" which meant away travel was possible as Nolan was with him.

Nolan'll have to go and be his roommate

Carroll is better than Crouch now imo.

Technically he isn't, nor positionally.

Crouch's technique is nowt special tbh.

Carroll is better in the air, has better strength and is probably faster. His finsihing is probably better anarl.

Would take wor Andy over Crouch every day of the week  :aww:
