1708: A striker HAS left Newcastle today. But not THAT one, yet. According to BBC Newcastle, 24-year-old Spanish striker Xisco has brought his deeply disappointing two-and-a-half year stint on Tyneside to an end and re-signed for Deportivo La Coruna after just 11 appearances and one goal for the Magpies.

Was this ever confirmed as a loan or signing; the official site has no mention whatsoever. Surely if it is a loan we must call him back.

Loan,  they have an option to buy for 2,5m or so, I think.

We have to get him back then.

Don't know how it would work in your particular case since you're a foreign club, but loans in La Liga can't be recalled.

Checked. Looks like you can recall him but his registration will be held at Depor until the next transfer window. So you essentially can't.

Crap player in my eyes.

Refused to play for the reserves as well as i thought he should be in the first team :|

I've heard people say "give him a chance, he hasn't had one"

Yes he has, but when he has been on the pitch he has looked fucking shite so why put him back on the field for us?

Based on what, why does he deserve a chance?

The jist I have got when approaching this stand point is that some talented players have been shit in training so it doesn't really matter what Xisco does there he still deserves to start games for us.
