Love that he battled back from some bad injuries, but he just wasn't anywhere near good enough.

Aye, seems a sound bloke, but he's never been good enough. Best of luck to him.

He's done good stuff for us but that was a long time ago, I hope he does well at a championship club or something. Is this a sign that Carver isn't being consulted? I can imagine him wanting to keep him on.

Good luck to him, has done well to battle back from the injuries he's had and despite not really being good enough has still given us some good memories as well as bad and seems like a really nice genuine lad.

WOOHOO!

But just like Gosling, serious questions need to be asked why he started so many games for us if he was considered unnecessary. Typical of the wankers we keep selecting as 'head coach.'

Was almost certain he would get a new contract, so :celb:

There's time yet, we've been here before with Shola, likewise West Ham with Carlton Cole

I know it ended up being a bit of a curse because of the leeway it gave Pardew but he was decent in the 5th season, and as cliché as it is he always gave his all. Shame his all was never really good enough.

Good luck to him, seems a great guy.
