Pilko
Consett taught us a lesson in the fundamentals of heading it, kicking it, passing it and making a tackle.
NEEJ
U18s drew 2-2 with Man City. Further evidence that Pardew has had massive success with the yoof at NUFC.

Mick
On a serious note, the kids are now forced to go to home first team games and get fined 10% of a weeks wages the first time and it goes up 10% every time they miss a game and they could end up owing the club money. Jill
I'd rather they saw absolutely nothing of the first team, it'll only hinder their development if they pick up any hints from it.

Unbelievable
Nowt wrong with that. The kids earn too much money. How much would your average academy kid be on? Doubt it would be all that much really. Anyway, it's a strange argument to make. They make their money by training and performing in matches, not by being forced to sit through endless sessions of boring Pardew hoofball.

healthyaddiction
Remie Streete recalled from his loan due to our defensive injuries. Real shame, just started to establish himself in the defence and now he has to come back and sit on our bench (if that) until January.

Strange one - suggests the Colo and Taylor injuries might be worse than we thought.
LRD
He was getting a run in Port Vale's team and his loan was just extended until January a week back. Good thing we still rely on an injury-prone CB and two others on the wrong side of 30 while letting a French international go.
joeyt
Can we not let him stay for the next two weeks, presumably Port Vale have a game or two while we arent playing
LRD
They have one more league game during the international break. Presumably we don't want to risk him getting an injury in that one game.
