Grounds is who I'm guessing would come in. Saw him live when he was on loan @ Norwich, looked alright.

Wheater has been horseshit recently, always the sort of player who might give a way a pen n all.

The way our luck is going atm, a Boro CB brings down Martins in the box, the referee would probably give them a penalty.

Oh.

Still, I'm sure one of their kids will come in and have a blinder. :hmm:

On there they seem to think they'll move Pornstar Bates back there, he's been playing in midfield.

even if we got a pen there is no-one in our team i would be confident in stepping up and taking it.

Strangely enough if Ameobi was playing I'd be more confident in him scoring it then any of the rest

Then again Viduka is surely good at pens??

The Times say Martins is a doubt - has not trained this weekend.  Shearer apparently not impressed.

He's only pencilled in for a role right wing . with a groin injury we'd be better playing someone else in that position anyway.

Drop him, if he wants to cry off again then let him.

Lovenkrands in his place if it's a 4-3-3. Carroll may also be asked to step in, depends on the formation though I reckon.

4-4-2 by the sound of what Al has been saying, Owen and Viduka up top.

considering how well that's worked in the past, he wants shooting if true

Hasn't really been given a chance to fail given their appalling injury records.

God I hope we win tomorrow (today).

You can see him in the training photos on NUFC.co.uk.

If he isn't fit start Lovenkrands in his place.

Martins hasn't looked fit this last couple of games. He doesn't seem to have been running at full pelt, as though he's protecting an injury.

As pace is his chief asset, it's not worth playing him in those circumstances.
