Si
Thought Rooney looked a noticeable few echelons above everybody else on the pitch tonight. Haven't seen Rooney in this sort of form for a good while, makes you wonder what he's going to do this season with Utd. Rooney & Young are going to be devastating in another six months when they have played even more games together.

Tooj
Love Rooney when he's playing a bit deeper like he has been this season. Much prefer it to when he was playing as more of a poacher.

cubaricho
No Carroll, Joey? Surprised at that mind... Why? Rooney is miles better than Carroll and fits into a more fluid system. You put Carroll into a team and it almost instantly goes "long ball" to Carroll. Rooney provides many more options.

Sifu
FA complains over racist abuse The Football Association has complained to Uefa after racist abuse appeared to be aimed at Ashley Young during England's 3-0 win over Bulgaria. The behaviour of a section of Bulgarian supporters has been reported to the Uefa match delegate following the Euro 2012 qualifier in Sofia. The incident occurred as Manchester United winger Young left the pitch upon being substituted in the second half. England captain John Terry had not heard the abuse during the game and said it was an issue for the FA and UEFA to deal with. Terry told Sky Sports: "You don't expect that at all. "It was a great spectacle for everyone to watch this evening. "Let's not let that spoil it." Young created England's third goal in the victory as a Gary Cahill effort and Wayne Rooney double edged Fabio Capello's side closer to qualification for the finals in Poland and the Ukraine.
