cp40
Wayne rooneys face swollen and deformed- clearly minimal contact.
Nobody
Chambers should probably put a blue shirt on at half time, seems more his level.
Dr.Spaceman
Chris Waddle "A set-piece caused the problems initially and San Marino just couldn't clear their lines. And Wayne Rooney put that away with class. A top penalty kick - nobody saves those. Very good. The scoreline is good but the performance has not been great." Guest Gino14
Chambers has looked awful. Have to question the merits of even playing defenders against this lot as well. Four set defenders who have only touched the ball about twice in their own half.

Aye, might as well stick Lambert or Lallana or there or something, complete waste of time playing four defenders against these.
Ronaldo
This is pretty rubbish. Instead of being clinical and well prepared to put on a show, we're treating it like a training game. Playing again in less than 3 days, mind.

Maybe keep Cahill, but have an attacking midfielder and at least two wingers instead of fullbacks. We're not actually playing wingers in midfield, so Chambers is wide all the time and his crossing is hideous so far.
KaKa
Just play two attacking full backs and have them stay in the opposition's half. Hodgson's got a bit of Pardew about him for sure.

Wullie
Alternate commentary. During home games, every time San Marino kick the ball out the stadium and into Italy they have to pay 60 euros to get it back.

Cronky
Chambers has looked awful. Have to question the merits of even playing defenders against this lot as well. Four set defenders who have only touched the ball about twice in their own half. He looks so composed for Arsenal, but he was a nervous wreck out there tonight. Lallana and the Ox improved us a lot. I thought San Marino would have trouble containing Sterling, with his pace and power, but we actually needed players who can work the ball in tight spaces and that's not Sterling's strength. Likewise Henderson.

Likewise Henderson. With 10 men behind the ball, we needed to work the flanks and for some reason we didn't start with any wingers. Lallana and the Ox definitely made that difference. We actually had a bit of success when we let San Marino out a bit too. Wilshere should have had Rooney through for two goals from two long passes. Passing is great and everything, but sometimes from 15-20 yards I'm just thinking a shot would be nice occasionally. Townsend was willing to have a go and got a goal for himself for it.
