Loans aint gonna get us anywhere.

If it led to signings, Im OK with that.

But it isn't is it ?

That Dutch lad from Chelsea I'd have loved here permanently.

I reckon he'll do well.

Reads like a Karl Pilkington poem, that does.

Phil K is clearly a pseudonym!

Sky Sports 1 tonight at midnight,30. Premier League World. Half hour about NUFC's return to the big time.

Likely be shown across the week as well. Caught the last ten mins when it was shown earlier. Interviews with Nolan, Hughton and Peter Beardsley giving his most repugnant view on Mr Ashley and his 'relationship' with supporters.

Waterstones in town currently cashing in on World Cup fever with a 3for2 offer, website seems to selling that at a reduced price.

Includes some good buys:

Why England Lose - freakonomics type book towards why events happen in football.

Inverting the Pyramid - development of football tactics from its inception to modern day - VERY GOOD.

Futebol: Brazilian way of Life - Various anectodes from a British Journo during his time in Brazil. A good insight into why Brazil are Brazil.

Calcio: A History of Italian Football - A history of Italian football

Brilliant Orange: The Neurotic Genius of Dutch Football

Was at Waford last season. Notice he was one place higher than Ashley Cole. On loan at Wimbledon at the time they write "But we all know Harley belongs in the Premiership, and he could fill Graeme Le Saux's boots for both club & country".
