Tsunami
Would love to hear Shearer’s thoughts on Bruce now. Can’t have it both ways Alan. Same goes for many many pundits and journalists; especially those who also told us we should be thankful of Ashley. Thankful for holding us back eh, for 14 years. Vinny Green Balls
some of you are just going to harp on him no matter what. It certainly sticks the sword into the argument that one or two made that Alan refuses to give credit to Eddie.

Add in his bruce shite he was getting on my tits for a while. All is forgiven now?

Colos Short and Curlies
(a) would that be disallowed for handball these days? (b) I'd love to see Pickford's reaction in berating his defence if he had made that mistake
wormy
That final angle shows some considerably impressive ground he made up between the 'keeper's bad touch and nabbing it off him, considering that's at 33 and post-injuries.

Likelylad
Ha, aye. I thought the same. I also think his beauty against Villa gets called offside if VAR was kicking around.

The one that always springs to mind for me - though not iconic as such, but bloody brilliant and easily one of my favourite SJP memories - is the Perez winner against Everton. Anyway, I shouldn't really infect this thread with such chatter.

Guest
Someone who hasn't bothered their arse going to an away game for nearly 40 years managing to get tickets over people who'll have loads of points, etc. Atmosphere must have been shit, etc.
