"This is why I value this forum so highly. If the result were the other way round, their forum would be full of "we were robbed, stinky Mackems, self-pity blah blah."

We are a more measured knowledgeable bunch. Bigger men."

Does that include the ones burning their shirts?

" Absolutely no complaints about the result but plenty about the performance. Very bad day at the office and at the worst time. But we'll take it on the chin with dignity, because we have the class to do it and that class is what will always give our club the last laugh. FTM. "

Mignolet v Krul (+1 Sunderland, both good prospects but Krul can be shaky)

Bardsley v Enrique (+1 for Newcastle, perhaps their best player)

Onuoha v Simpson (+1 for Sunderland, clearly we have the edge in quality)

Bramble v Coloccini (+1 for Sunderland, Coloccini is a lightweight)

Turner v Williamson (+1 for Sunderland, Williamson looks out of his depth)

Malbranque v Spiderman (+1 for Sunderland.....clearly)

Henderson v Barton (+1 for both teams....an honorable draw)

Cattermole v Tiote (+1 for Sunderland)

Elmo v Routledge/Taylor (+1 Sunderland, Elmo is better than both)

Welbeck v Nolan (+1 Newcastle....clearly)

Bent v Carroll (+1 Sunderland...anyone thinks different is mad)

Subs bench (+1 Sunderland....no doubt we have the greater strength)

Manager (+1 Sunderland)

Sunderland 11 - 3 Newcastle

Let's hope that's the final score

Have to say I was amazed at how confident lots of them seemed. They weren't just going to win, they were going to hammer us.

Crazy.

i found it baffling the way they were going on you'd swear they were about to play a league one side and its even more insane when there away record is considered
