Disco
SWP may be a possibility. I don't think Mancini likes him much. started against Spurs
Guest sicko2ndbest
No no no to SWP. I think Routledge can offer just as much if not more. The best ships for us, Ireland, Bellamy and Onouha have already sailed. Santa Cruz is obviously an upgrade on Ameobi and Carroll but has no pace which only Loven offers. I dont know who we could add that would make us infinately better as a side, who Mancini would be prepared to let go
NG32
Man city are a fucking disgrace. I'd tek lascott on loan tho...but that depends on the demands on man citys demands after theloan period is up, if we have to out right buy him or not.
Nobody
Maybe the Ben Arfa link has gone quiet because we're getting Robinho instead
Guest LJA0210
If we cant pay Ben Arfa's wages how the hell we gonna pay Robinho's £200,000 a week?
relámpago blanco
If we cant pay Ben Arfa's wages how the hell we gonna pay Robinho's £200,000 a week? Man city will pay em like they do with Bellamy.
Guest sicko2ndbest
Look robinho is staying at santos! End of Who would you take. I've not got a fantastic knowledge of citys squad so apart from cruz and lescott I am struggling

STM
There aren't many of the Man City team whom i wouldn't have here on loan. Santa Cruz would be amazing.

Aye, it'd be great for our medical staff to get some practise on a player we don't really have to care that much about.

Wullie
We've got enough immobile target men without buying a crocked one from someone else. We need mobility up front.

Guest
We'll end up with that Boyata kid on loan as cover.
Guest Roger Kint
We'll end up with that Boyata kid on loan as cover. Seems pointless for City to do that. Hes not gaining anything sitting on our bench any more than playing in their reserves. A Championship loan would be far better for them.
Ketsbaia
We're too late sniffing around City.....Onuoha, Weiss and Bellamy are already gone.
Dokko
SWP may be a possibility. I don't think Mancini likes him much. Well he's in the 25 man squad and counts as home grown and club grown, important for Europe. There's absolutely no chance of SWP leaving since Ireland and Onouha left the club, they need the numbers there.

Well he's in the 25 man squad and counts as home grown and club grown, important for Europe. There's absolutely no chance of SWP leaving since Ireland and Onouha left the club, they need the numbers there. Have they actually named their 25 man squad? I didn't think anyone had to until the end of the transfer window. It's a long shot, but SWP was struggling to nail a regular place at the end of last season. With Balotelli, Silva, and Johnson ahead of him, I don't think it'll get any easier for him. I don't doubt that City will want him to stay, but I can't see SWP being happy with the situation, any more than Ireland or Bellamy were.

He signed a new contract and was in the provisional squad for Europe, the one Bellamy didn't make.
toontownman
papers today claim Lescott can go out on loan id have him here in a flash Perfect as he can play in a couple of positions if there is even the slightest possibility of lescott being available I hope we are jumping all over it. He needs a new start and would be perfect for us at cb or lb. Santa Cruz is better than anything we have but not different enough in style for us to be bidding for him IMO.
