David Craig confirms 'Sources' believe

How rubbish can you get?

It's almost fitting that its about a player called Santa.

I'm unsure about Santa Cruz. Yes he's better than Ameobi and Lovenkrands but he's exactly the same type of player Carroll is, with a dreadful goalscoring record.

1999–00 28 5

2000–01 19 5

2001–02 22 5

2002–03 14 5

2003–04 29 5

2004–05 4 0

2005–06 13 4

2006–07 26 2

2007-08  37    19

2008–09  20 4

2009–10 19 3

The lads only ever scored more than 5 goals in 1 season on one occasion. So aye, he is the epitome of a 1 season wonder.

I'm not sure about the one season wonder thing with Santa Cruz. Was it not perhaps the way that Blackburn played during that season that perhaps suited him more than anywhere else? Wasn't that the same season when Bentley was getting assist after assist?

David Craig confirms 'Sources' believe we are front runners in the race for RSC, club denied it.

I always thought he was in Ashley's pocket, but he wasn't even close to knowing about the Tiote deal, so I doubt if we are in tbh.

Ah, David Craig.

I'll not look forward to watching his horrid face and crap spouting on deadline day on SSN.

Took him a long time to come back from injury when City bought him and then that squad rotation at City meant he did not get regular football.

I would be happy with a loan deal for him, depending on wages that is.

A team of

                  Harper/Krul

Perch      Colo    Will        Enrique

                  Tiote

                        Barton

Ben Arfa                                Jonas

                  Jo

                          Carroll

Would do me nicely for now.  If Jo is shite then put Ben Arfa around that position and Routledge in. This Tiote looks like he is a wee aggressive bastard and won't go missing at all which is great because if we drop Smith and Nolan, putting guys like Jo and Ben Arfa in the team we will need a couple of players to step up and keep the tenacity going. Barton already has it and this guy will too I think.

That's my football management for the morning anyway.

Jo? fuck off, he's crap.

If he has the ball centre left about 15 yards out, he's great. Any other of the infinite situations a player finds himself in then, he's crap.

Edit: I should point out the ball must be on his left side.
