Fugazi
Never realised what a Cushy run to the semis England could have if we win the group tomorrow. Yeah, it's EASY. Nothing is easy in the world cup, but if England top the group tomorrow night, it's the nearest thing you'll ever get to it in the later stages of the world cup The group was meant to be a breeze, I wouldn't particularly fancy England if they faced Ghana next round. I wouldn't particularly fancy England if they face Anguilla next. (check out Anguilla vs El Salvador on you tube) It's cruel to post that really as I know a guy who played in that match for Anguilla (No. 17, Rob Paris) as he played at Hampton & Richmond at the time. Still, you gotta laugh. They'd probably give us a tough game.

Neil
Get in, will be able to see the game tomorrow. Don't win and it's going to be a long shift. 2-1 England: Lampard and Rooney to do the business.
Raconteur
That miss is going to be ingrained in Babatunde's mind for the rest of his life, haunting him everywhere he goes. He could be shagging the woman of his dreams then the miss will pop into his mind promting instant floppage. Bad times for Baba. That has to be the funniest post in the whole thread

AyeDubbleYoo
Just saw this quote on Lee Chung-Yong's profile on BBC: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/world_cup_2010/groups_and_teams/team/south_korea/lee_chung_yong He is a pacy right winger whose value has quadrupled following an impressive first season in English football. He was linked with an £8m move to Liverpool in April but says he is happy at Bolton. “It's a quiet place, but it's really convenient because it means I don't need to drive very far - I go in Tesco and I have my Clubcard, so I am very happy here”.
