Rodgers is beginning to look more and more like Pardew in a frock tbh.

Read a few self-help books, some  ancient Philosophy for beginners - wanked over a few Barca matches and decides to pass it sideways ad infinitium. Hoy on two world class strikers and you have a title run on the cards.

Asked when Suarez would be missed, he fucking replied "Not really."

Now he is out of goals, out of ideas and the defence is leaking like the Titanic - and have no idea how to cope.

Two words for it - Showed Up.

Did he not get a big new 5 year contract in the summer as well? would cost a fortune to get shot of him, if things really go pear shaped.

Yep, FSG bottled it. Should have waited another year Post-Suarez to see if he was the real deal.

Would cost an absolute packet to sack now.  :crazy2:

I think its a fair point to make, he has spent 120 million this summer and the team looks completely clueless.

Yes, Sturridge has been Injured but one striker out does not excuse their form or shape. Wenger have had loads more injuries and they still manage to play fotball.

He ridiculed and gloated Tottenham and Southhampton both before last season and this, and completely waved away Suarez leaving as a non-issue.

He cant have it both ways.

Mid-table manager with the best striker pairing in the world, shit Pardew was sniffing on 70 points with far lesser strikers...

Rodgers is a fraud.

Strikers really do make a massive difference, especially Suarez who basically murdered teams singlehandedly. Plus he linked up so well with Sturridge. But Rodgers has to show his mettle now and prove it's not just the players who win games. All managers have to cope with losing their stars, but there's only a few that can do it successfully.

I think they managed two attempts in the box against us, and it was a deflected shot from distance that got them their goal against Chelsea. Against us, they must have had getting on for 150 passes between members of their back four. That's great when you're two goals up, but they never led in the game and were behind for about a quarter of it.

I suspect it might have been last minute wage demands that turned them off Remy, but he would have been a much better buy than Balotelli.
