Dr Venkman
"but we'll keep doing what we do day in, day out in training. At some stage I'm sure it's going to come right." that's the spirit Kenny ... you keep going Straight from the Steve Bruce management handbook. SEMTEX
"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting the result to be different*" *obviously this is not the definition of insanity, but it's a quote that someone smart probably said at some point. People love quotes.
Mole_Toonfan
If his idea of progress is going from playing utter shite but going results now and again to playing some good stuff but not getting any results then i hope he stays at Liverpool until he kicks the bucket. Neil
Underlying all this is a belief that they're just a bit of luck away from being a solid top 3 or 4 team. Only a string of fine goalkeeper performances have cost Liverpool points. Let the foolish old man keep thinking this. It'll continue to cost Liverpool and their blind fans. Neil
I'd love to be able to support Everton turning them over in the Semi You can, because we'll win the final and you'll finish 5th.
Guest gggg
You can't spin you're way out of this mess Kenny. "The main goal is to qualify for the Champions League. If we don’t it would be a major disappointment.” was what was said before the season. Backwards in the league, sponsorship deals that had nothing to do with you and matching the achievements of Birmingham City in the cup is not moving forward. Mole_Toonfan
Has Kenny either bought a substantial amount of players outside the UK? with us he dismantled our team and replaced mostly with over the hill british crap and at Blackburn he spent millions on crap tonnes of british players. Not theres anything wrong with that but i wonder if hes capable of searching for players outside the UK and choosing a foreigner over a brit if he had to pick. After all he supposedly chose Downing over Mata in the summer.......

Guest gggg
Dalglish signed loads of foreigners for us, probably more than O'Neill has in his career. wormy
I said mostly tbf Tbf I'd guess at that being quite a high turnover of foreign players for those days. But I see what you're saying. Wouldn't be surprised to see he hasn't moved on from those days and wouldn't know where to start in scouring the continent for players.

Wormy explained what i meant pretty well also your probably right he's no O'Neill but hes definitely no Ferguson either.

I certainly don't think anyone at boardroom-level at that time had a clue about players (which could make your point relevant), so my guess would be it was all Dalglish's work.
