ponsaelius
It's no surprise the game descended into that. As disgusting as some of the diving and playacting was, Mourinho does bring this kind of thing on himself. The whole siege mentality, building up with mindgames, setting up defensive tactics, kicking the opposition to pieces. It descends these games into a farce. Not to say Barca aren't absolute twats for the shit they did tonight. Thankfully Messi saved the game some grace.
David Icke - Son of God
To be fair to Pissi if Scholes had made that tackle people on here would be up in arms.
Unbelievable
For those saying Pepe's foul wasn't a red card.. http://s4.as.com/prom/201104/pro_photo1303936422.jpg Wasn't tbf. He deflected some of the ball and didn't go in with excessive force. It's those challenges on the continent you always see the player in Alves' position moan about, when the ball's there to be won. ponsaelius
I thought the redcard was borderline. Said straight away he could go for it even before the ridiculous hounding of the ref.
Mr. Snrub
Not looking at the ball and slamming into a players leg halfway up his shin. Yes, if Cattermole made that tackle everyone would be defending him to the hilt.
Fugazi
Just noticed there's hour-long highlights on SS1 at midnight, anyone else tuning in at about quarter to 1?
Ryan_Taylor
Not looking at the ball and slamming into a players leg halfway up his shin. Beren
Surprised Eufa are allowed to prevent interviews being given etc. Not right IMO.
NJS
Not looking at the ball and slamming into a players leg halfway up his shin. Guest neesy111
I agree with Pissi, far too many Mourinho fans on here. Not surprising as I would bet that they are all the doom merchants in here as well. It's amazing how the common factor in any major European game that turns into farce u's Mourinho. Too many people with heads stuck in sand as well.

midds
Looked like a yellow at the time but I can see why the ref sent him off. Going in studs up like that is always giving the ref a decision to make. Not too much contact made but that's down to luck/timing more than Pepe being in control of the tackle. Could quite easily have caused a nasty injury.
Mr. Snrub
"Pepe foul against Dani Alves. Red Card, Sent Off" on YT. He goes past the ball and does the player, clear as day.
NJS
Don;'t give a fuck about Mourinho - most Spanish players (and that includes imports) are complete cheats. There are of course many cheats in England but nothing compared to Spain. If the final doesn't go their way early on and they revert to type against Man U will it all be down to Fergie? Mr. Snrub
If the final doesn't go their way early on and they revert to type against Man U will it all be down to Fergie? Doubt it, when they played in the final 2 years ago Man Utd dominated the first 10 minutes only to get schooled the other 80 and lose 2-0.
Dinho lad
Incidentally, apart from the Barca bias from the referee,Cristiano.yet again went missing in a big game. yeah, but Mourinho's pathetic ant-football tactics also played a part. Glad his team are going out. And as for Messi's goal.........fucking hell!!

Revert to type? You can't watch many Barca games. Tonight they were horrible, but to call it a regular occurance is daft.
Fugazi
"Mou: we had the intention to keep 0-0. Then bring on a striker. Then a third phase, a number ten behind 3 forwards. But the ref didnt allow it" Aye, you were definitely going to do that. Ketsbaia
people are being harsh on the match like....it was poor for a while but got fascinating near the end. pepe's red transformed the game (red card AGAIN ), even if it was a bit harsh. not proud of the way barca surrounded the ref though and pedro was an irritating prick. mourinho's smugness is legendary (can't help but love the guy) and i loved the sarcastic 'well done'. but messi, man.......he's the greatest that ever existed. i don't care what anyone else says.
