He can do in one touch what Best can do in four, that was the difference in the second half.

Lot of people on about him losing the ball, which he did do (and will do quite a bit every single time he plays so people need to get used to it) but he provides a threat through the middle which worries defenders and opens up space for other players. That's twice in two games him just being on the pitch has changed our attacking play for the better imo,and he's not even playing that well.

People really are going to have to accept him losing the ball because it's going to happen a lot with him fully match fit as well. Just part of his game, his style.

Even when he was messing it up or holding onto the ball too much he was opening the game up for us. We looked a much better side and will do even more once his team-mates are on the same wavelength and he's at full speed.

Absolutely, you have to let your creative players play. Thankfully I think Pardew knows it.

Totally. He was the difference in the 2nd half. He changed the game

He will lose the ball sometimes, but he brought a totally different feel to our play. He's fearless and he carries the ball forward, he motivates our whole team to do the same.

Sure he'll reduce the mistakes when he gets more match sharpness. The sloppy passing I would put down to that mainly.

Love they way he stands back to goal then spins on a pass without even making a touch on the ball

He's gonna lose the ball yes, but we also lose possession lots when we pump long balls onto bests head

He definately pushes them back, think we just take much of it for granted knowing his ability.

Several times he just ran across the face of the penalty area evading challenges opening up space. Thats where the goal came from, he was tackled doing it which had left others in space as he'd pulled midfielders back.

His second/third touch is off at the moment, he starts a burst but the ball runs away from him. And we're still not giving him enough options (or he's just being very greedy).

Not worried though, he's just rusty and trying too hard.

There was one burst, which probably wont make the highlights because he got tackled. But he had passed the ball back the first few times it was played into him, but then about the third time he let it run and span in behind leaving a player for dead and then took it round another two before running into one of the centre backs.

That little moment was just a glimpse of something which is so rare in players and shows what a real asset we have if we can harness his qualities

His first touch is unbelievable.

I could probably count on one hand the amount of players in the Premier League with a similar touch. It's in the same mould of David Silva's, as in he always creates space with it, and in his mind he already knows what his second touch will be, so the ball's already there for him.

There was one moment when he got it just past halfway and with one touch and turn he had left two men for dead. He then went on to lose the ball like, but it was still brilliant.

He's not helped by the fact there's absolutely fuck all movement in front of him when he's dribbling. Everyone was stood picking their arses expecting him to do it all on his own but it's simply not going to happen with 3/4 defenders on him every time.

Bit of movement from his team mates and a bit of match sharpness, he'll be reet.

His mind is just so far ahead of those around him.
