LRD
Reading back, I wasn't far off when I told you what I knew/thought of the player back when we were signing him. Shame we won't get to assess your observations on the other Twente guy. Just remembered de Jong was from Twente too.

Disco
FABRICIO Coloccini and Cheik Tiote are back in training ahead of Newcastle United’s visit to White Hart Lane. Coloccini has missed the club’s last four games with a groin problem. But United’s captain is ready to return for Sunday’s televised game against Tottenham Hotspur. And midfielder Cheik Tiote – who limped out of last weekend’s win over Chelsea – is also available for selection. “Colo’s trained the last two or three days, and is OK,” said Pardew today. “Cheik is good. He’s in great form at the moment, and it’s important that he is available.” Meanwhile, defender Steven Taylor (hamstring) is pencilled in to return against Norwich City on November 23. Pardew said: “He should be OK after the international break.”
George Bailey
He looks like he's enjoying his football again. Plus the arm band and maybe some maturing on his part? I'm personally still not a huge fan and still waiting for the expected implosion but I have to admit he has been much.much improved............he was feckin coming from a long way down mind. Hope it continues.
Jesse Pinkman
I interpreted the title as Tiote is available for spurs. . . to buy, no-one else or am I just paranoid?
Shush
Probably means "available" for a transfer to Spurs.

Cajun
Will be absolutely over the moon if he is turning it around long term. Fair play to him, I thought he was a lost cause. Another good game

Mr. Snrub
With the correct management Tiote can still be a cracking player. How hard is it to instruct him to win the ball and move it on, and give him a bollocking if he tries to dribble it past 4 players and run it out of our own half. Just thought I'd do some needless bragging.

Deuce
Been one of the more influential players for us the past few weeks. The return to his 2011/12 form has been huge.
Belfast Mags
Reasonable assured today, no mad pass attempts or crazy rash tackles, just went about his business, strong, neat & tidy with good decision making.
Cajun
One really bad pass but he positioned himself to block the Spurs pass and win it back. Love this Tiote, shoes are good for walking but make a shit meal. Tiote should remain a shoe.

Kanj
His game is so much simpler now. Yep. But made some silly and lacidaisical passes in the middle of the pitch that could have been costly. Captain's armband has transformed the man.
SteveMc
Yip - impressive again. He's ironically rediscovered his identity as we have discovered he bought it for 10 grand from a bloke at a Belgian train station

Guest
He probably doesn't take his place in the team for granted anymore. Throw in the captaincy and it being World Cup year (he hasn't always been first choice for Ivory Coast lately has he?), and there's a few factors which can point to his good form. I believe he's a mainstay in their squad. Wasn't called up for next matches cos he's suspended. Cisse on the other hand will most likely kiss his WC ticket goodbye considering Ivory Coast's win in the first leg.
