He's one of a few players we signed during that time that if we had had proper management things could have been very different.

He collected cards for fun, and the :tiote: smiley on here was great fun. But he was a proper character who cared, with the right management he should have developed, he was a force of nature at his best.

Will never forget an away game against Arsenal where he ran the midfield. Think we beat them 1-0 or drew 0-0 and he was just dominant. Fabregas was invisible that day.

IIRC it was statistically the worst performance of Fabregas at Arsenal. Tiote just intercepted or tackled anything that moved that day

Just seeing his name and the word straight after in hundreds of headlines just cuts into you! Despite knowing what's happened it feels surreal most of the time, but reading the headlines makes you realise reality and that it's actually happened, well it still feels surreal but less so, and more devastating. Along all the tributes and tweets from his former team mates.

Someone's threw a fund up to create a flag and stated that he'll donate any money raised to Gallowgate Flags if they accept it, all they needed to say was "thanks for the offer but we don't wish to take the money, good luck and donate it to a good cause" or something along those lines. Sounds like the power's got to their head a bit like, they've demonised him for no reason at all there. They aren't the only authority for taking fucking flags into the stadium.

The lads name and face is up on the GoFundMe page.

 Exactly my thoughts.

Piss poor from Gallowgate Flags, especially in this incredibly sad situation.
