thewellander
Hughton will play the same side that started against Villa, as well he should. Would be great if Tiote were on the bench, but will probably be too soon. I feel that we have a better side than Wolves and we must be building confidence. I optimistically reckon that we'll win this 2-1 or 3-1. As far as away games go, this is definitely one we can win.

durhamunigeordie
Daily Mail think Carroll is a doubt, a huge blow if true http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1306870/Newcastle-striker-Andy-Carroll-race-time-fit-Wolves-clash.html
Pilko
It could explain why there were no strikers on the bench at Accrington.
Dave
He will be assessed before the team leave for Molineux this afternoon. Newcastle boss Chris Hughton will turn to Shola Ameobi if he fails his fitness test.

David28
Surely a loss if he can't play. Don't agree with that. Shola playing and Carroll missing out doesn't mean a change to our well standing defence.
durhamunigeordie
Yea i am praying its nothing. I have no idea but I remember Nolan being reported as out of the watford away game (maybe with a head injury?) last season but then im sure he started. That wasn't the work of the mail by any chance was it? EDIT: Hmmm the next piece from the daily mail is this one: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1306823/Newcastles-Jose-Enrique-admits-Geordie-cleaner-taught-talk-Toon.html including this little gem of a quote from Jose: 'I am starting to pick some up though because we have a cleaner cal led Lorraine who speaks Geordie and so I hear her say things like "hiya" which I had never heard before.' Don't know why but reading this makes me believe that Carroll is not injured!
midds
Only one win in the last 50 years at Molineux? Long overdue a win here tbh. Fuck it, 1-2.

midds
Only one win in the last 50 years at Molineux? I was there '88 wasn't it ? 89/90 according to .com Still a shite record all the same. Don't fancy our chances if Carroll's out though.
Mick
I was there '88 wasn't it ? As Midds says, it was the 89/90 season and I was also there. It was a shit ground and I was behind the goal in a massive terraced area, I remember a lot of trouble kicking off before the game, especially next to a huge roundabout where we had to walk through.
