*OFFICIAL* HUGHTON SACKED

He must either like being a villain, or he's doing it out of spite/power-mongering. There's no way anyone, especially a billionaire could be THAT stupid. His ability to shock and amaze me never fails, and always happens when it's least likely. He's like a f***ing M. Night Shamalan film, twisty and totally, utterly s*** to the superlative. Massive f***ing c***.

Nice post.

And if you think that the players and fans should just sit there and not make their voice heard.. then you either don't care that much about NUFC or you're simply a coward.

Or a realist?

Realist about what? That Ashley will get it right?

Newcastle defender Sol Campbell criticised the decision.

"This will hit the players hard," he told ESPN Soccernet. "The players admired him and liked him and won't be happy now he's gone like this.

"It makes no sense. Here is a guy who has done an unbelievable job. He got the club back into the Premier League and any manager would have been rewarded for that with a new contract, but Chris wasn't.

"The players are sure to be asking themselves 'what the hell is going on?', that is only natural.

"When we left training this morning none of the players had a clue this was coming. Yes, it has come as a shock, and it will affect the dressing room there is no doubt about that."

Sorry Sol... but you should be asking Ashley that instead.

Aye, because he regularly sits in his office at SJP and welcomes drop-in sessions from the players.

If I were a player, I'd simply try to force it! What have I got to lose?!

Err your jpb/wages?

Oh yea..... as if that's a major factor for them! If I care about not wasting my career in a circus...then I'd happily lose 2 weeks wages, tbh.

Then you obviously don't know professional footballers. Money is all they have, otherwise they wouldn't be on 40/50k a week. They don't care about Hughton THAT much.

money is all theyhave? sorry.... but some of them actually want to do well in their career... not waste it in a circus.

Then they'll request a transfer. They would never strike, they just wouldn't. They're not like fans, it's their job.

My thoughts exactly. How could he possibly be that stupid?

I was saying the same after Keegan, now we have to come to the conclusions that Icarus has pointed out. Unbelievable.

On replacement > Alan Pardew will sign a contract until end of the season (in next few days). He's agreed to minimal spending in Jan. #NUFC

Who the f*** is posting this?

Wallace

Not me - just copying and pasting from #nufcfans twitter site

That he will never listen to us. And that I wouldn't waste my breath on that sack of steaming horseshit. Ever.

I would never agree to do something unless I thought we could achieve something at the end of it.

Everyone seems to be banging on about MA doing this to Spite the fans (and because he can).

One thing I will say is.....

Would you, as a chairman be happy with whats happening this season? We had resounding wins against Villa and the Mackems, Hard fought for wins against Everton and Arsenal ......................

AND THEN

hammered by Bolton and West Brom. Unnacceptable losses against Blackpool and Stoke and a couple of rather nasty draws against Fulham and Wolves.

Given the wins we had surely we should have annihilated the teams we drew/lost against?

I know we drew against Chelsea in the league, but hey everyone is drawing / Beating Chelsea at the moment. I know we beat them in the cup (which was a fantastic result) but we then got spanked by the Gooners.

What would you do if you were in Ashleys shoes? stick with it and hope it gets better or make change?

Sounds like the form of a mid-table team.  And that's the best we could have hoped for after last season's promotion.

Look at some of tottenhams results this season.

Lost to two sides in the bottom 3 in Wigan and west ham. Lost 4-2 at Bolton.

You arent going to get that level of consistancy outside of the top 4 generally. Players are not always going to be at their best, they are going to be more motivated on some occasions than others thats just how it is.

Exactly, it's a disgrace to sack Hughton over our results.  They have been decent enough.

Why sacking a goalkeeping coach with him as well? We had one of the best goalkeepers in the country he should be rewarded for that....

And who on earth is this a reference to, out of sheer morbid curiosity?

Paul Barron I would assume.

And when was Paul Barron one of the best goalkeepers in the country?

I agree. The beginning of the Liverpool match should be greeted with gentle applause.
