It was interesting to read those comments. When I first saw him, he was in midfield and I've never been convinced that defence would turn out to be his best role. Megson said: “Newcastle won’t allow the loan to be extended. I spoke to Alan Pardew. We’ve been playing James at outside right but they don’t want him to play in the position. “I can’t guarantee he’ll play at right-back, because we’ve got Jon Otsemobor back and Lewis Buxton getting closer to full fitness. We’re looking for someone who can play outside right; we’ve tried for another player on loan, but the club aren’t keen to let him out yet.” Llera has left Blackpool on a free and signed a deal that runs to the summer of next year. Megson said: “I’m really pleased, because Miguel has done well in the three games he’s played, and he’s got something maybe we don’t have a lot of: good delivery from the back. He’s got to try to get himself in the team. If we do have a problem with Rob Jones, which we’ve had before, we don’t have to shift Reda Johnson from left-back.” Academy keeper Sean Cuff has joined Blue Square Premier club Cambridge on a month’s loan.
