AyeDubbleYoo
I think Bridge is a very decent player, but I hope it doesn't come to that.
Disco
Bridge is on maaaaaaad wages ain't he & technically still belongs to City. He is also shit.
Dave
Bridge is fucking bollocks.
Guest sydneycove
£40mil + right there Which we should have if MA keeps his word and we cut a bit of dead wood (Raylor, Smith, Perch, Xisco and Routledge should all bring in a small transfer fee). Not that I think we should get rid of Routledge.
Skeletor
If (god forbid) Enrique does leave, if we could get Bridge in on relatively cheap wages as unlikely as it is, I wouldn't think that'd be a bad signing at all. Dodgy start at West Ham but since then he's been one of their better performers. Would still prefer we kept Jose mind. x Infinity

Chicken Dancer
Would rather not spunk a high chunk of a reported budget on Bridge. Probably cheaper and better in the Championship.
thenige
Not surprised by the reaction to be fair, it's amazing how much his stock has fallen since he left Chelsea. Obviously I think he's better than people on here but considering there's not a deluge of quality LB's available on the market would be surprised if he isn't one we consider. Cajun
Front 6 of - Ben Arfa Ba N'Zogbia Jonas/Nolan Tiotè Barton Looks quite tasty tbh.
jdckelly
bridge is a competent enough left back, hasn't been terrible for wham mostly. wages are the big problem obviously
cubaricho
I would like for us to be looking abroad for a bigger % of our summer signings. Obviously it helps when someone has Prem experience but there will also be a higher $$ premium when that's involved. I love when we unearth players like Enrique, Colo, Jonas, etc... Dave
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13406294.stm 'need to add three or four really good players' Still 'if's and 'hopefully's in there about the Carroll money though.
Ronaldo
He was assured that Carroll wouldn't be sold, but he was. It's obvious he doesn't have 100% confidence in what he's being told.
midds
He knows exactly what he's been told. That's the very reason he's being so vague and non-committal. He's just getting his excuses in. [/cynicalasfuck]
Guest
Don't follow Serie A at all but are there any Sampdoria players worth looking at with their relegation?
Matt
Don't follow Serie A at all but are there any Sampdoria players worth looking at with their relegation? I saw their game against Genoa the other week and they were absolutely dreadful.
Guest
Didn't realise they finished 6th & 4th the previous two seasons! That's some fall from grace. Here's hoping Spurs follow that trend next season.
Ketsbaia
I know Cassano upset the chairman, but it was stupidity letting him and Pazzini leave in January. Especially when you replace them with Maccarone and Macheda. They still have FM legend Palombo though.
La Parka
No surprise they went down, no goalscorers left!
Shayno
as said already, lost some big players and Macheda has been a huge flop for them.
LooneyToonArmy
Don't follow Serie A at all but are there any Sampdoria players worth looking at with their relegation? ex Spurs player Reto Ziegeler has improved alot since leaving, played canny at left back when I saw them play (2 seasons ago when they had the likes of Cassano and Pazzini in the team).....not saying we should go for him mind. Chicken Dancer
Yannick Djalo? Linked alot last summer, always looked decent when I've seen him. Players in that league are famously payed low as well, so wouldn't cost the earth.
