Sifu
Would have Bentley, as Bartons direct replacement. Given our current circumstances, I would too.
Ikon
Would have Bentley, as Bartons direct replacement. For that money (wages) i would rather see us try for Pedro Leon (at least try)
Joe_F
Bentley couldn't even get into Birmingham's side last season ffs.
Begbie
I rather take Kranjkar than Bentley. Think we also should go for Podolski, he just lost his captains armband at Koln and isnt happy about it. Why arent we after Hitzelsperger, he can even play left back.

I don't understand why you'd think there was no middle ground between a player that couldn't crack Birmingham's XI and Samir Nasri.

I don't understand why you'd think there was no middle ground between a player that couldn't crack Birmingham's XI and Samir Nasri. Don't know what's Bentley's problem been in the last few years, but he's a proven PL player and, if I'm not mistaken, still relatively young. Anyway, what sort of players between the class of Bentley and the class of Nasri are there to go for, then?

Ryan_Taylor
Bentley would not be progress. Neither is inevitably not replacing Barton...
Disco
Bentley would be the closest we could get in terms of style to replace him off the top of my head. In theory we could do better, in practise; who knows.
David Icke - Son of God
Bentley was shite at Birmingham, he could barely get a game. I'd really rather not.

Stifler
Bentley would create more than Barton. Barton's creativity wasn't there after Carroll left, Bentley I believe could help build up play better and create more chances than Barton.
