Either Wenger doesn't want to spend or their board is more stingy than MA.

Arsenals profits are amazing, those trying to argue Wenger had no money are touched, deeply deeply touched

But why wouldn't he spend it?? IT'S A COVER-UP. :frantic:

Is this a whoosh? The profits were generated by the sales of Fabregas and Nasri for north of £40m in total.

Wenger's problem is identifying players that are better than the ones he's left with, who won't break their wage structure, and who aren't snapped up by wealthier clubs. He decided to keep the bulk of the money in reserve and recruit stop gaps to fill out the squad.

Nope, they could pay most of their debt off right now with the cash reserves they have instead they'll just pay it off how they want to because they have good service agreements i.e. a mortgage over 25 years.

Van Persie sits out Holland training with groin injury. Hmm... is this the point in the season that he starts falling to pieces?

Or it might be the time of the season where international footballers pick up 3-day injuries before a friendly.

Off topic but Szczesny's English is amazing!

Top keeper too.

Agree, you could tell last season despite some moments of inexperience. Likely to get better as well bar some Cech-style traumatic experience.

Think he will retire after this job (possibly end of this season) or wait around for a national role to come up where he can work part time.

See how France do in the next tournament.
