Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

Got captain written aaaaaallllll over him.

Dragging Jonas back to the ref, thought he was going to hit him at one point and tbf Jonas would have deserved it.

Was good to see tbh, took control of a difficult situation and wouldn't allow Jonas to continue being a knob.

He was fucking immense today, and not only because of the goal. As been said over and over here, he shows real leadership qualities, both with his play and his talk.

If both he and Sissoko keeps todays level up it's going to be a fun spring

I was terrified when he kept getting clogged in the second half. Him, Sissoko and Anita could be terrific. There were glimpses of it towards the end, mainly linking up with Cisse on the right

Him and Sissoko in the same side is going to be amazing for us. Both have that magic pass in the final third, hoping Sissoko has some shooting ability in him too.

In the future I'd like to see them both switching positions during the match. They should both be able to perform each role well and it makes them harder to pick up.

I actually thought that is what was going to happen tbh, should be able to with ease tbh as both of them have played in both positions many many times.

Pardew says he sees Sissoko as the midfield and attack link man, I think I'd rather play Cabaye there and use Sissoko as a box-to-boxer to be honest. I didn't feel like Sissoko offered a lot of defensive protection tonight, perhaps he ran out of steam, or was told to play higher up, but we really need him to help out in that regard.

Optimistic for the future having seen him play with Sissoko tonight. No niggling injuries, no 4-4-2s, surrounded by mates and slowly exerting his captaincy potential - I think Yo will be outstanding for us and we'll look far better because of it.
