Dragging Jonas back to the ref, thought he was going to hit him at one point and tbf Jonas would have deserved it. As been said over and over here, he shows real leadership qualities, both with his play and his talk. Both have that magic pass in the final third, hoping Sissoko has some shooting ability in him too. In the future I'd like to see them both switching positions during the match. I actually thought that is what was going to happen tbh, should be able to with ease tbh as both of them have played in both positions many many times. Gallowgate Toon Posted January 30, 2013 Share Posted January 30, 2013 Pardew says he sees Sissoko as the midfield and attack link man, I think I'd rather play Cabaye there and use Sissoko as a box-to-boxer to be honest. I didn't feel like Sissoko offered a lot of defensive protection tonight, perhaps he ran out of steam, or was told to play higher up, but we really need him to help out in that regard. No niggling injuries, no 4-4-2s, surrounded by mates and slowly exerting his captaincy potential - I think Yo will be outstanding for us and we'll look far better because of it.
