Guest
Best goalscorer we've had since Andy Cole? He's just got everything. I think you could play him as a target man like Carroll, poacher like Cole, link-up striker like Beardsley and he'd still be awesome.
Minhosa
Absolutely beasted Rio. Made him look like a pub player at times.

Beren
Rio Ferdinand has had a wonderful career, and at his pomp I really did rate the guy. Demba destroyed him today. Mismatch, mauling, mullering, murdered, magnificent.
johnnypd
looked good for west ham, looks like drogba at his peak for us. unplayable.
Ronaldo
Best goalscorer we've had since Andy Cole? Somebody got it at least. But seriously, he'll eclipse Shearer's best league tally for us at this rate.

Wil
His all-round game has been consistently brilliant this season. Never appreciated he could be this good.

alexf
Think tonight he was playing his best position for us. Always felt he looks best just off the striker where he has the space and can drop deep and get involved. Absolute beast of a performance. Going to miss him for a few games now, hope we can use tonight as momentum for the other games
Si
I'm going to miss him every day whilst he's away[/clingy] Hope he gives us three rings to let us know he's got there safely and calls every other day to let us know he's ok.
juniatmoko
looked good for west ham, looks like drogba at his peak for us. unplayable. drogba is powerful striker use his physical strength for his game. Demba is different he is a very technical gifted striker. More like van persie, henry, nistelroy or batistuta. Their skill & technique in front of goal is second to none. But seriously, he'll eclipse Shearer's best league tally for us at this rate. To be honest his movement, positioning, hold up play and goalscoring instinct is just so good he doesn't actually look a million miles away from 96/97 Shearer. Guest VaVaVoom
Ba is and has shown this season that he is the best striker since SHEARER...not Cole. Shearer Ferdinand Cole Ba
AyeDubbleYoo
He showed his intelligence to alter his position brilliantly today I thought. He realised that Man Utd were throwing midfielders forward and he dropped into the space excellently. And obviously an awesome finish.

Certainly in style. Not that i saw a massive amount of football during those years.
