Taylor Swift
The knee IS important because it stops other clubs from getting insurance when they sign him, which is why they haven't signed him yet. His contract is guaranteed but without insurance, it's very risky.

Tiresias
So it is just about money after all. The current regime won't pay the kind of wages he's after so I can see him going (tho do approve of not paying silly wages)
STM
It won't be a premier league club that will take him anyway. He will end up in turkey, china, russia or the UAE, where the money is for players of his calibre. Even Liverpool wouldn't pay him 80k a week, with that knee. Like the guy but he is naive as fuck in letting his Agent et al get away with their comments if he thinks it's going to increase his bargaining position. I wouldn't be at all surprised if MA/DL etc just cease the talks now and peddle him in January.

He's a very good player, but those wage demands are crazy.
Guest
Aye I could see him at Anzhi or somewhere to replace Eto'o on mental wages.
PCW1983
See Asamoah Gyan, like its been said if he leaves I really can't see it being for a European club. I wouldn't want him to leave but there has been good players before him and will be after him. C'est la vie.
Skirge
He is represented by an utter cunt to whom money is all that matters. Demba angry at being benched yes and so he should be any player should be but all this shit in the press and this stupid release clause shit is beyond a joke. I would hate for him to leave but I also believe its what he wants and is what will happen in January but as others say it will be for huge wages at some random nowhere club. ChrisMcQuillan
If it's going to be like this for as long as he's here, he can go.
sugoinufc
that agent is a d*ck. I do not believe his is that upset and with his current form and cisse not scoring yet he should be playing. maybe pardew should just go with the 4-4-2 ? im more hooked on 4-3-3 but im not sure its the best formation at this time. Still think we need a quality player for LW before it would makes lethal. 4-4-2 with arfa on the RW and cisse and ba on top will score many goals....all of them also cable of scoring of out of nowhere. Get our foundation sorted until we hit form all over. goals will come with those 3 playing at the same time.
Jill
I just plain can't be bothered with a drawn out saga like.
Elliottman
I just plain can't be bothered with a drawn out saga like. Aye, cant be bothered to worry about it again. If he goes, he goes. No one player bigger than the club etc etc
BrettNUFC
Not sure what to think, think it's maybe best if i just don't think. Just get on with it, pretty much just ignore all this drivel coming from all their mouths. If he leaves he leaves, if he stays he stays. As long as he gives it all on the pitch which i've never faulted him for then it's fine by me.

Guest Roger Kint
They will sell him if he continues with this shite. We could try but he was available all the last transfer window and not one single team bid for him though he was touted to all and sundry, something for Ba to think about if he doesnt put a stop to that gobshite 'representing' him. Could end up much worse off than missing 45 minutes at NUFC.

Could end up much worse off than missing 45 minutes at NUFC. It won't like. He scores goals. Without the knee problem he's worth £15m. If a QPR need some goals or even Wham again they will stump it up.

Parky
I suspect part of his 'disenchantment' is that he didn't get the big money move he was after in the summer. It was pretty clear that the club and his reps were offering him around everywhere. It seems wage demands were a possible sticking point. The sight of his entourage jumping up and down cause he was on the bench for one game is a disgrace. Basically says he went on strike only a year after signing a new contract to force a move. Stopped training with the first team and showed an unelievably bad attitude which shocked the manager.
Revolution Number 9
If he's really causing a load of bother then ideally we could sell him and bring in a striker () who is more suited to playing up top with Cisse.

I remember him just turning up in London when he moved to West Ham a la Ben Arfa, got to say none of this should really come as a surprise to anyone, his career is littered with agitated and less than ordinary transfers. The only thing is if we do bin him we don't buy another striker in January, it'd be obscene otherwise.
Big Geordie
As good a player as he is, no one is bigger than the club. I can see him being moved on in January. We need everyone pulling in the same direction - not one or two acting like twats.
