Guest DebuchyAndTheBeast
Good technically gifted player but his attitude can be questioned though. When we're playing well and on the front foot during a match he'll definitely shine but when we're being dominated he's the last player in the team to count on. On top of that he still needs to find his best position which seems to be on the bench at the moment
Skirge
He is a talent who has found it hard to settle over here, his head and heart are not in it so lets move him on, if we can use him to help sin Cabella then that would be outstanding. pipe dream I know

He was on the bench ahead of Obertan last weekend. Thought his body languge was suspect, but time will tell whether he did enough to make that seat his own. NewJerseyMag
He sh**e. Move on asap. Might as well give Sammy a chance rather than this waste of space.

Mole_Toonfan
Why is Sammy a winger being compared to Marveaux a creative attacking midfielder?

HawK
Wrong club for Marveaux, would work well at a team that keeps it on the deck and plays slow, possession football.

NewJerseyMag
Why is Sammy a winger being compared to Marveaux a creative attacking midfielder? Yup. Comparing bench spots and who I would have on it. Marveaux not going to cut it or improve. How old??
mozy
Marveaux is such a frustrating case of talent vs application. If he tries something that doesn't work/ the attack breaks down the first thing he does is throw his hands up in the air and stand about in a strop. I wouldn't want someone in my team that consistently did that.
Cajun
I still have no idea where we would play him tbh.
r0cafella
I still have no idea where we would play him tbh. Number 10 with Remy and Ben Arfa either side of him . Cabaye and tiote behind him
LoveItIfWeBeatU
It's not about training ground improvement. It's about Pardew preferring defensively minded players. Same reason Ben Arfa isn't playing. Marveaux's useful in the nr. 10 role, we could do with him in home games. I think someone like Martinez would get the best out of him. I'm sure if Martinez rates Sylvain Marveaux NUFC would definitely sell him to Everton. Wrong club for Marveaux, would work well at a team that keeps it on the deck and plays slow, possession football. You'd think some club would come in to try to loan him. Dave
I still have no idea where we would play him tbh. That's one of the problems when you acquire players mostly based on whether they'll increase in value or not.

Plus I definitely wouldn't be dropping Gouffran. Just seems very unbalanced to me. Remy Ben Arfa Marveaux Cabaye Tiote Sissoko ?

Guest neesy111
For all our decent success in the transfer market, our punts on freebies have been rubbish apart from Ba. Gosling, Marveaux, Amalfitano have achieved little to sweet FA between them.
