Dave
His best game for us. Tidy passing, comfortable on the ball and a genuine attacking threat when he got going.
toondra
only second start.... This team can be technical, just need to play the right players...
littlelunchbox
HBA on the right, Marveaux in the centre now we just need a techinical player to fill the left hand side, could it be Amalfitano? Oberdong?
Guest hatem garrincha
Marveaux is one of the 2 or 3 most talented NUFC players
AlanSkÃrare
Excellent throughout. The midfielder that linked everything together. The exact role many of us wanted him to play in earlier in this thread. Superb technique and good penetration. Looking forward to see more of this. toondra
hi garrincha, 2 for me, cabaye is overrated for me too, good player but overrated... hatem should be a starter in the french squad everyday of the year
ponsaelius
I'd have him in the team every week just because he's one of the few who can control and pass a football. Find it a bit strange that the coaching staff have been slamming him for slowing things down. Sometimes that's exactly what a team that treats the ball like a hot potato needs. Klaus
Very good performance from the lad, however there has been other games where he has been anonymous throughout. We know he has the ability, he just needs to be more consistent, same for a lot of our players tbh like
Mick
I'm so pleased for him, he's class when fit.

toondra
to be consistent you need to play games, remember ben arfa last year... and sorry but running and make simple pass doesn't make you a consistent player for me...good players take risk
Kanj
Brilliant match, he needed today and with a bit of extra luck could have scored a goal with some his little runs. Proud of him today.

Guest hatem garrincha
After his big game tonight in the middle in front of 2 DM, He's a serious contenter for Cabaye's place. In the French squad maybe In the french squad, Cabaye is mainly used as a DM. And I'm agree with your last statement : Marveaux is better than Cabaye in an advanced position in the middle. Ronaldo
He's got to have Jonas' place in the team soon.

Tiresias
I'd love to see him, Cabaye and Anita / in form tiote in the same midfield, should be able to pass it around, Cabaye maybe naturally hustling more, moving side to side more, spreading play but also hurtling into the box off the ball, Marveaux carring the ball forward ball at his feet and Anita circulating it. Should be lovely

SiLvOR
You don't need muscle to play football, just keep the ball away from the opponent by keeping it on the deck and finding someone wearing the same colour shirt as you.
ExiledGeordie
He needed games before to get up to speed and got injured against Everton last season when he was really starting to show what he could do. Same situation again, he just needs games....Looked class at times tonight
