taxfree
What are you basing that on taxfree? Seeing him play there. After checking it out now, scout Tor-Kristian Karlsen concurs.
TRC
Fair do's never seen him play, but I've heard a lot of people saying he's not a right mid.
Guest palnese
Decent when he came on. Showed some nice touches and kept possession well. Would have liked to see him in a more central role.
taxfree
Needs to play. Needs to start ahead of our only ugly French bloke.

Rich
Pinning a lot of hope on this fella now. Looks absolutely tiny, but he's got to be given a proper chance soon. Him, Santon and Ben Arfa could revitalise this team.
cubaricho
Decent when he came on. Showed some nice touches and kept possession well. Would have liked to see him in a more central role. He had his most effective spell of the match tonight when he drifted in to the center and sometimes to the left.

He had his most effective spell of the match tonight when he drifted in to the center and sometimes to the left. from whaty i' watched of him he's a bit like ben arfa....he's not a winger but will go wide to find space and use it, if theres space in the middle he'll use it. we didn't get the best out of ginola by trying to pigeon hole him as a winger and we run the risk of doing the same here. binnsy
i would probably start him on Saturday but i think he'll be left on the bench, probably come on for another 20-30 min runout and Pardew will be looking to start him against Forest in the cup. Looking at it from both sides, for the development of the player another runout from the bench followed by a start and say a 60-70 minutes against Forest is probably the right thing for getting the player back fit and playing again after so long out injured but for the team sake his pace and creativity is something that is needed immediately. I'd much rather see Marveaux there than Jonas.

Ikon
Looked sharp and quality in the few minutes he played, seemed to be ten times more confident in his ability than Jonas/Obertan who were gash. Must start against Villa, He as good delivery as well.
Guest Dontooner
Honestly think he would be a much more important player than most think. He would be the player to fill in the blanks for us when we lack fluidity. Just observe his game when he doesnt have the ball, he often makes himself available in good positions regardless of him being on the left or right. Some of us might think Cabaye and Ben might be make a good link up, personally imo he is the link up for the team. Example of such a player is Coentrao that Real Madrid just bought, many surprised by the purchase and price as he is not a big name player. However, he adds so much to the madrid's game with his simple link up plays and his steel like defensive abilities.
