Sifu
It seems to be 'when not if' with this, which is positive, but I'm worried about the Arsenal game. Who the f***'s gonna play left-back if we're left short? One of these: Tavernier/Dummett/Raylor/Perch/Ferguson (if fit)
Skirge
So we'll still only have one left back
Willow
So we'll still only have one left back Sammy Ameobi can do a job there. Sorted.
Fenham Mag
If transfers can be done in a few hours on deadline day , no reason at all this one shouldn't be sorted out especially being in the predicament of having no LBs.
jdckelly
the deadline for weekend games is 12 on friday isn't it?
Cajun
So we'll still only have one left back Ferguson will struggle to get a game at left wing and there must be a reason the coaches/manager are so adamant on making him into a left back.
JH
Can't see him playing on Saturday like.
Gallowgate Toon
Noticed he's fairly tall at 6'1, does he have any pace at all? Glad he's got height, we're looking a bit short (no pun intended) for corners.
Willow
The key to success is to generally buy tall players
Ronaldo
Paul Huntington was a very tall LB. That worked out quite well.
AlanSkÃrare
I have a feeling he might struggle to adapt. Full backs need to get used to the pace of English football, hopefully he is on par with Simpson to start with.

ujpest doza
Paul Huntington was a very tall LB. That worked out quite well. Jose Enrique is a pretty tall full back, that worked out well. Guest sicko2ndbest
Not at all impressed with him going to Liverpool f***ing back up for Glichy as well :-[ f***ing hate Liverpool
Pilko
Paul Huntington was a very tall LB. That worked out quite well. Paul Huntington was a centre-half being played at left-back. Aye, he was piss-poor, but he was out of position like.
Ketsbaia
Can see both deals going through tomorrow tbh. Not as if Liverpool have came out of the blue, we've probably had a vague agreement for a little while. Although its terrible that Jose is going, its a nice surprise that we've replaced him already. Oakie Doke
Huntington looked very promising at one point. Ended up at Yeovil.
magorific
Paul Huntington was a very tall LB. That worked out quite well. Jose Enrique is a pretty tall full back, that worked out well. Apologies if posted elsewhere, but saw this on a LFC forum. Read it and wept... 1 on 1, Enrique's very hard to beat. Happened only 9 times last season, compared to A. Cole (38), Clichy (26), Baines (24), Evra (23).
Rich
Paul Huntington was a very tall LB. That worked out quite well. Paul Huntington was a centre-half being played at left-back. Aye, he was piss-poor, but he was out of position like. Scored against Spurs in one of my favourite games in recent memory, for that he'll always hold a special place in my heart. /brushhairacrossforehead

Cajun
Sad to lose Jose but sick of the constant uncertainty, hope we get this lad in, he settles quickly and we can look forward.
taxfree
Paul Huntington was a very tall LB. That worked out quite well. Pieters is 2 cm taller than Enrique. Nothing to go on about really.
