Realistic Transfer Targets

I don't know if he's realistic in terms of his ambitions. But a left back as Danish Nicolai Boilesen from Ajax Amsterdam is definately one for the future. Not yet fully established in the Ajax starting eleven, but is by far the best left back option we have in Denmark. His skills going forward is really impressive and as a former centerback he knows his defensive responsibilities. Of course, at the age of 19 he still has tons to learn, and it might be a big step coming to Newcastle and Premier League right now. But I think his potential is playing for some of the really big clubs and in the Champions League and it might be a nice step coming to Newcastle first.

He would also fit well into the buy cheap - sell big-theme we seem to be doing, with all these youngsters.

We are looking at Luuk De Jong(21) of Twente according to Douglas.

He has been brilliant this season so far

He's out of contract next summer? According to Wikipedia he signed a 3-year deal in July 2009.

Surely looking at two strikers anyway. One for Jan (Maiga), one for the summer whenhopefully

Lovelypants (and Shola - never going to happen) is on his way (De Jong/Roux).

Two more is too many imo, Loven will bugger off but Shola will still be here and we will already have Best, Ba, Ben Arfa youngsters like Vuckic and Sammy.

So Best, Ba, Ben Arfa, New and the youngsters should be more than enough. We can use Shola after the Zombies have taken over.

Cabaye's been bigging up Debuchy his former Lille team mate up all week. Right-back too. If he's good enough for Yohan he's good enough for me.
