Unless they're only looking to sell to someone in MA/DL's circle. Well transactions like this could either be widely marketed/announced or be handled quietly under NDAs and such to protect the identity of the purchaser and their other businesses should the deal not come to fruition. Also "off market" transactions tend be quick, better pricing for the buyer/seller (no hassling with other interested parties or other hold-ups etc). He fucking hates us for having the audacity to love our club and despair at his initial handling of it. I've little doubt that he came in with good intentions and to spend some money but the man holds grudges. Rangers will be back in the SPL in a couple of years, they'll be a cheaper play thing and he'll hopefully have learned from his mistakes. He might even win things. The man lost 133 million on spread betting on shares, he didn't even bother buying shares, he placed fucking spreads on them, lost and walked away. If I remember he went to the casino a couple of weeks later and lost a few hundred grand without batting an eyelid. He has no intention of spending any more of his money on us unless he absolutely has too. His choice.
