Makes more sense to get the maximum exposure by being involved in both. Question is, which one will have the controlling interest? First they have to win promotion for the Scottish Championship, with competition, even Hearts should put up a fight. Rangers then actually have to qualify for the CL, doesn't the SPL only have 1 CL place now? Even if they do go up I think Celtic will still have the title wrapped up, I don't think Rangers will be strolling back in like nothing has happened as people expect.
